Wow! This piece took me on a journey and made me cry more than once.

The idea of ‘home’ has always left me feeling ‘unsettled’. But as I’m growing older, I’m realising that this conflict about where do I feel at home and what should it look like eventually settles down when we start forgiving the past and accepting the present for what it is. And as families slowly grow with the addition of new members (babies and partners), home starts to feel like a new version of the past (if that makes any sense), feeling familiar again and sneakily mending those cracks with new memories and bonds.

It’s a strange, beautiful circle of life!

Thank you for this article, you both. Loved every bit!

Nice note.. Reminds me of home.. Home - Is it only the place where one lives; or is it where one feels belonging or care; or is it something more wholesome? Memories - could they be home? Music notes which invoke memories? For me, sometimes even some of my journeys have been home to me - that drive to Manali for example.. Company of a few friends whiling away time sipping shared cups of coffee - can be home too. Memories of Dad.. of tiffs, debates, insights, values .. no greater home than that..
